World skills competition cabinet: After achieving 1st place at my regional cabinet making qualifiers, I competed at the World skills UK national finals for furniture and cabinet making along with 8 others. There, we followed technical drawings and a brief to produce a cabinet, during a stressful 18 hours of competition making. After a nervous wait for the ceremony, I was amazed to be announced in 3rd place.
